Theatrical routes are a different fun way to discover emblematic locations, historical sites etc… a route where different play like scenes, with their picturesque and appealing characters, just pop up unexpectedly.

Sapo productions have been constantly performing theatrical tours since 2004 in the following locations:

La Rioja

Logroño, Alfaro, Calahorra, Monasterio de San Millán, Monasterio de Cañas, Santo Domingo de La Calzada, Torrecilla, Soto en Cameros, Haro, Monasterio Santa María la Real de Nájera, Arnedo.

Basque Country

Elciego, Laguardia, Labraza, Labastida, Salinillas de Buradón, Bodega Pagos de Leza, Castillo de Fontecha.

Navarra

Viana.

Visitors will revive, accompanied by a tour guide, the most relevant historical moments of each location.

What we propose is a different attractive way of enjoying and understanding the past, living first hand key moments in history, travelling in time and enjoying the company of their protagonists. Participants in the routes will enjoy these scenes as a “virtual reality” experience so to speak.

We can enjoy historical sites and monuments today but we definitely miss all the characters that made these possible…or maybe not. This is what we aim to achieve in these routes.
